School Sanitation Program through FKS Foundation

Education is indeed the focus of the programs carried out by FKS Foundation, but not only limited to education in academic sector, but education with a wider scope, one of which is the education about health and sanitation. And one of the places that is very important to get education about this is the school environment, which is almost all far from the ideal ratio of toilets, which is 1:25 for female student and 1:40 for male student

In order to support this sanitation education program, FKS Foundation supported 2 schools in Cilegon area to build sanitation facilities at SMAN 1 Cilegon and SMAN 5 Cilegon in the form of 14 toilet units and also 8 handwashing stations. The focus of this program is not only on the construction of facilities but also the education about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness especially in schools.

The entire cost of building a sanitation facility that reaches not less than 300 million rupiah is a contribution from the internal FKS Group donors collected through a fundraising event during the Bali Marathon event in the previous year. This is one form of FKS Group’s commitment that corporate responsibility is not only the responsibility of the company as a business entity, but also has become a social value adopted by all employees as a company element.
