Scholarship for Children through FKS Foundation

FKS Food & Agri Pte Ltd through FKS Foundation has commenced a scholarship program as part of its CSR Program benefiting the talented children from the fortuneless families who live around the facilities of PT Permata Dunia Sukses Utama, PT Sentral Grain Terminal and PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia in Cilegon, Banten.

The program, which has been running from 2016, has conducted a selection of candidates with a total recipients of 115 students (73 women and 42 men) from 11 schools for the school year 2017/2018. The participants increased from the program’s first year of running which reported for helping 54 students (29 women and 25 men) from nine schools. Most of the students who received the scholarship were those who studied in Class X.

The scholarship is programmed to support education for each participants to finish senior high school while FKS Group also expects the cooperation from the parents and school to keep encouraging the students to keep increasing their school performance.

Aligning with the company’s vision, FKS Group hopes to continue to foster all potentials by expanding the program to other cities as well.
